Titan Fans-
Hello again everyone out there in Titan Land. Hopefully everyone has had a great holiday season. I know I enjoyed the break, along with the chance for some home cooked food and time spent with family. The break was also much easier to enjoy thanks to our big win at Hanover. The second half gave us another glimpse into how well we can play.
Now it's almost time to get after it in the CCIW again. Everyone knows that each game will be a battle but we're all more than ready to get started. Hopefully we'll be able to get Sean back sooner rather than later and we can keep playing with the enthusiasm and energy we had at Hanover. We have the ability to play with anyone and if everything goes to plan, the people around the conference that think IWU lost too much off of last years team to compete will be in for an unpleasant surprise.
Bowl picks for the upcoming college football games:
Wisconsin over Arkansas
Michigan over USC
Ohio State over Florida
-the Big 10 ends the season with arguably the 3 best teams in the country.
Quick shout out to B. Nuss gettin' better as quick as possible off the shoulder surgery. I also gotta say thanks to my grandparents, Don and Carol Bloom and Bob and Wilma Miller who have supported me throughout my career and have been following every game this year. I know it means a lot to me.
Thanks again for reading and I'll see you all at the Shirk--

Titan fans,
Five games and one injury into the season and obviously a lot has happened. I think we're all feeling pretty good to be sitting at 4-1 despite the loss this past weekend. We bounced back well against Judson, and as long as Zach goes 11-11 from the field and has 15+ rebounds every game I think we'll be in pretty good shape.
As you may have heard, I've been sidelined for the past week or so with a stress-fracture in my left shin. It had been bothering me since the first week of practice so after the UW-Whitewater tourney I figured it was time to let it heal and get back to full strength. If there is one thing I've learned in my first 2 years with the team it has been that it's a long season and taking care of yourself is the only way to get through it. After waiting two seasons to be a part of the varsity team, sitting out has been extremely frustrating. I want to do anything I can to contribute. Luckily for me, my injury is healing fast and I hope to be back on the practice court by week's end.
We've got a big game against St. Xavier next. They are always tough and we'll need to put together a solid performance to be able to leave the gym happy. I'll have a little extra interest in leaving in a good mood due to the fact that I'll be celebrating my 21st birthday on Wednesday (Nov. 29).
Talk to you all again soon… happy, HEALTHY, and a year older.
